Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Department Manager to oversee the receiving and flow of merchandise through to the sales floor at our Walmart Canada location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the activities of associates to ensure a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and reset the Receiving Area to ensure efficient merchandise flow.
  • Unload and sort general merchandise trailers and complete live unloading of other types of merchandise.
  • Delegate and follow-up on tasks such as pulling pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
  • Assist in stocking, applying product protection, and binning overstock merchandise as assigned.
  • Provide training, coaching, and feedback to associates.
  • Act as team lead by providing direction to CAP 2 Associates.
  • Maintain the cold chain for refrigerated and frozen receiving.
