Senior Animation Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Animation Software Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our animation team, you will be responsible for developing in-game animation features, improving existing animation systems, and integrating the latest animation technologies from our proprietary engine into our games.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the animation team to develop new animation systems and improve existing ones.
- Integrate new animation technologies from our engine into the game.
- Take ownership of in-game gameplay features, ensuring they meet performance, memory, and load time budgets.
- Make recommendations to improve animation tools and pipelines, and optimize animator workflows.
- Support animators by debugging animation tools and helping to unblock them.
- Mentor other engineering team members.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- 5+ years software development experience in the game industry.
- Experience with real-time animation middleware or equivalent custom/in-house solutions, animation compression, and advanced animation memory management.
- Excellent 3D math skills.
- Programming experience in C++ and C#.
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, portable code.
