Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at VOIX CONSTRUCTION INC. As a Construction Helper, you will assist in various construction tasks, including mixing, pouring, and spreading materials, assisting in framing houses, and performing routine maintenance work.

Responsibilities
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Work Environment

As a Construction Helper, you will work outdoors, at heights, underground, and in confined spaces. You will be exposed to noisy, dusty, cold, and hot environments.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent experience
Work Setting

You will work at a remote location and a construction site.

Specialization

Our company specializes in driveways, industrial, commercial, and institutional, residential, sidewalks and curbs, and roofing projects.

Transportation

You will need to own a vehicle to commute to work.

Physical Demands

The job requires working in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and performing physically demanding tasks.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Hours

You will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
