Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement daily activities based on Equest's programming, balancing educator-led and child-directed approaches.
- Collaborate with team members to adapt programming to the needs of each child.
- Document observations and assessments for the supervisor.
- Support children's overall development.
- Assist in preparing nutritious meals and snacks.
- Adjust the environment to meet evolving program needs.
- Follow supervision policies and procedures as outlined in Equest's policies.
- Administer medication according to Equest's policies.
- Complete all reports and documentation accurately and on time.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and training as requested.
- A certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education, or an ECE II, or ECE III equivalency.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working with toddlers and/or young children.
- Collaborative team player.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Effective leadership through motivation, role modeling, and support.
- Outgoing personality with diverse interests to engage children.
- Strong communication skills.
- Familiarity with Child Care Regulations and Ministry of Education guidelines.
