Job Title: Material Handler

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at CANADA INC. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials from trucks, trailers, and containers
  • Moving products and materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Shipping orders and picking products from inventory
  • Weighing materials and goods
  • Making labels and attaching them to goods
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Wrapping and packing goods for shipping
  • Sorting, crating, and stacking goods
  • Transporting and distributing materials and goods
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory using computerized inventory control systems
  • Handling hazardous products and storing them safely
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Hand-eye coordination and ability to bend, crouch, and kneel
