Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Operate a truck to transport goods and materials, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
    • Plan and optimize routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
    • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the delivery of goods and materials.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience as a truck driver, preferably with a commercial driver's license (CDL).
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • AZ class license.
    • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
    • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
