We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a permanent, full-time employee.
Job Summary:The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including management reports and financial analysis.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Language: English.
The Bookkeeper will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.
