About the Role

Coveo is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Head of Cybersecurity and Risk Management. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our security and risk strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Global Security Strategy: Drive the development and execution of our global security strategy for both our platform and corporate environments, ensuring robust protection against emerging threats and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Lead and Mentor Security Team: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing security team that cares about the business and maintains excellent collaboration with all departments, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Advise Executive Team and Board: Serve as Coveo's key advisor to the executive team and board on cybersecurity matters, including risk management, incident management, compliance & governance.
  • Collaborate with Business Functions: Collaborate with and influence multiple business functions, including nurturing close relationships with R&D & IT to ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations and industry standards, as well as Legal, to align customer agreements with our security posture.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 Years of Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, in a technology or software company, with at least 5 years in a leadership role and a proven track record building and executing on a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy.
  • Strong Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire accountability and motivate teams to achieve excellence and to ensure a seamless collaboration across the organization, in order to integrate security into all aspects of the business.
  • Extensive Knowledge of Security Management Frameworks: Extensive knowledge of various information security management frameworks and the critical thinking necessary to decide how to apply them to serve different business cases.

  • Effective Communication: Ability to clearly communicate complex subjects regarding strategic and tactical cybersecurity programs to partners of varying technical levels, ranging from board members to customers.
  • Adaptability: Natural ability to adapt and shift gears in a rapidly changing environment and a good sense of when structure is needed and how to set up the right processes.
