Job Title: Chief Operations OfficerWe are seeking a seasoned senior executive to join our team as Chief Operations Officer. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for providing executive oversight of all internal operations of the company, including manufacturing operations, scaling operations to emerging markets, contract management, facilities management, inventory management, quality assurance, project execution and quality control, health and safety, and intellectual property protection.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement operational strategies to drive business growth and efficiency
- Lead the manufacturing, project execution, and people domains
- Relentlessly drive down complexity in operations and manufacturing processes
- Foster an agile approach towards fast innovation and technological leadership
- Ensure internal controls and policy compliance are robust
- Ensure the safeguarding of assets and protection of Intellectual Property
- Advise the executive leadership team and Board of Directors on operations-related long-term business issues
- Understand and evaluate operational and associated financial risks and identify how to avoid or minimize their impact
- High level of experience in the scale-up of complex manufacturing environments
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Ability to establish and implement operational strategies
- Experience in manufacturing operations or scaling operations in emerging markets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
