Are you looking for a challenging role that combines technical expertise with excellent customer service skills? Do you have a passion for the automotive industry and a desire to work for a leading retailer? We have an exciting opportunity for a Paint Technician to join our team at Lordco Auto Parts.

About the Role:

  • Provide exceptional customer service while dealing with customer inquiries and complaints
  • Fulfill warranty obligations while dealing with claims
  • Attend scheduled meetings to promote all products and services offered while maintaining professionalism
  • Grow and track qualified sales leads/opportunities and perform follow-up duties to gain customer confidence
  • Build strong business relationships
  • Prepare and present detailed quotations while remaining informed of competitor products and offerings
  • Manage an existing customer base while constantly cold calling new prospects

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of the Bodyshop/Automotive industry
  • Must have a relevant ticket or trade as a journeyman with hands-on experience
  • Excellent understanding of PPG Paint and color matching
  • Competent in ICBC repair knowledge & procedures
  • Prior sales experience will be viewed as an asset
  • Basic computer skills and understanding of Microsoft Office programs
