About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Bayshore HealthCare. As a Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing high-quality care and support in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and laundry.
  • Offer companionship and social support to clients, engaging in activities and conversations that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each client.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field; training in personal support work or healthcare aide an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license; ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
