About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Early Years Education System Inc. as a Child Development Specialist in one of our child care centres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development Planning: Assess children's development to create personalized learning plans that cater to their unique needs.
  • Infant and Toddler Care: Provide essential care, including bathing, diapering, and feeding, to infants and toddlers.
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development in children.
  • Collaboration and Support: Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs and provide support in keeping records.
  • Engagement and Guidance: Engage children in activities, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, and guide them in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Record Keeping and Communication: Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems.
  • Community Building: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Site Environment: Our child care centres are non-smoking and air-conditioned.
  • Work Setting: This is a permanent position in a child care centre.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The role involves repetitive tasks, is physically demanding, and requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: We require punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, interpersonal awareness, reliability, a team player attitude, and a strong sense of values and ethics.
What We Offer
