About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our Quality Engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective test cases to ensure comprehensive testing of our applications and systems.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts to streamline testing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development and Operations, to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our testing practices remain current and effective.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related field, with a strong background in testing methodologies and automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with a variety of testing frameworks and tools, including ALM, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages, such as Python, SQL, and Unix.
