Chief Architect Job Summary:

The Chief Architect at Lamwork is responsible for overseeing the development of system architecture solutions to address evolving threats and ensure integration and performance across various missile defense elements. This role involves collaborating with senior technical levels in the Missile Defense Industry and the Department of Defense, presenting technical findings, and contributing to strategic proposals and business development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architecture Development:
    • Create evolving reference architectures for companies adopting new technology solutions.
    • Provide best-practice consulting expertise for architectural strategy.
  • Digital Transformation:
    • Contribute to the establishment of preferred vendors for implementing reference architectures.
  • Center of Excellence Development:
    • Assist in establishing Enterprise Architecture, IoT, and Software Development centers of excellence.
  • Leadership and Management:
    • Provide leadership to the Architecture CoE group and manage direct reports such as Cloud Architect, Data Architect, IoT Architect.
  • Digital Roadmap Contribution:
    • Drive HQ digital transformation roadmaps and execution approach.
  • Research and Innovation:
    • Evaluate new technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and reduce costs.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Communicate and manage multiple Executive Stakeholders.
  • Vision and Roadmap Definition:
    • Define and communicate architectural and technological vision and roadmaps.
  • Technical Guidance:
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance in functional and non-functional areas.
    • Evangelize new technologies and best practices.

As a key member of the Lamwork team, the Chief Architect will play a critical role in driving the company's digital transformation and ensuring the success of its missile defense initiatives.
