At William Osler Health System, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the health outcomes of our community. As a Quality Improvement Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our Quality and Patient Safety department in achieving this goal.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development and implementation of quality improvement projects to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Analyze and interpret data to inform quality improvement initiatives and measure their effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines to support quality improvement initiatives.
- Enrollment in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.
- Registered Nurse in good standing with a minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with healthcare information systems and electronic health records.
