Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Imaging Scheduler to join our team at the University Health Network. As a key member of our Joint Department of Medical Imaging, you will play a vital role in supporting the scheduling and coordination of imaging appointments across different modalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review imaging requests and place orders accurately and safely
  • Schedule and reschedule imaging appointments, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Communicate with patients, referring clinics, and healthcare teams to coordinate appointment preparation and resources
  • Exercise judgment and decision-making in providing complex clerical services, including scheduling imaging appointments
  • Provide clerical support to JDMI Leadership and Imaging teams as required
Requirements
  • Completion of Grade 12 or recognized equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment
  • 2 years of related experience in a customer service environment
  • Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
  • Ability to use good judgment in assessing difficult situations
