Job Title: Evening Beneficiary Attendant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Evening Beneficiary Attendant to join our team at Le Verger residence in Saint-Jérôme. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and accompany residents in their daily activities, promoting independence and autonomy.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
  • Advocate for proactive care and support among residents, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors' home certification and the code of ethics.
  • Collaborate with the care team to provide health and hygienic care to residents, maintaining their dignity and integrity.
  • Respond to emergency situations and answer call bells in a timely and professional manner.
  • Deliver messages to the nursing staff and maintain effective communication with the care team.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong sense of organization and initiative.
  • Knowledge of Symo software is an asset, but not required.
  • Up-to-date CPR/AED training certificates and PDSB training are essential.
  • Law 90 training is also required.
