REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
– License or Certification: Valid State or Regional Massage License.
POSITION SUMMARY
Deliver exceptional massage services to clients utilizing various props and products. Administer body treatments including scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy. Evaluate client needs and inquire about any contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) prior to commencing service. Stay informed on current techniques and modalities relevant to the profession. Guide clients to and from treatment areas. Organize the workstation, treatment room, and drapes effectively. Regularly check in with clients to ensure comfort, safety, and satisfaction throughout the service. Promote and market spa and salon services, including retail products associated with the Spa. Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of tools, and ensure the treatment area is tidy throughout the shift, disposing of waste and securing supplies and equipment at the end of each session. Adhere to the scheduled timeframes throughout the day. Address any inappropriate client behavior by following established protocols, which may include halting a treatment and notifying a supervisor. Keep skills and licensure current in accordance with regional standards.
Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications as required. Abide by all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional and tidy; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; safeguard company assets. Greet and acknowledge all clients according to company standards; anticipate and respond to client service needs; express gratitude to clients sincerely. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Execute tasks requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Perform additional reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
