We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at Coast Canmore Hotel and Conference Centre. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and electrical systems.
  • Contractor Management: Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs and maintenance projects.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on hotel appliances and equipment.
  • Housekeeping: Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas, and ensure the overall cleanliness and safety of the hotel's facilities.
  • Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Communication: Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure that maintenance needs are met and that guests are not disrupted.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Hotel, motel, or resort setting.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, work under pressure, and may require working at heights.
