About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Victor Olarewaju. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch childcare services to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and organized home.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring a well-stocked pantry and fridge.
  • Travel with families on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents, maintaining a positive and respectful relationship.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them become confident and capable individuals.
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their cognitive and social development.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring a balanced and healthy diet for children.
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, promoting a consistent sleep schedule.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a listening ear and a comforting presence.
  • Help children with homework, promoting their academic success and confidence.
  • Cook and prepare meals for the family, ensuring a delicious and nutritious diet.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing and dressing, to infants and children.
  • Provide companionship, engaging in activities and conversations with children.
  • Launder clothing and household linens, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Feed or assist in feeding children, ensuring they receive a balanced and nutritious diet.
  • Demonstrate infant care to new parents, providing guidance and support.
  • Administer medications, as required, to children in your care.
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their independence and dignity.
