Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Quesada Burritos & Tacos. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe dining environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, as well as clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation: Place dishes in storage areas, replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used, package take-out food, and stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, as well as handle and store cleaning products, remove kitchen garbage and trash, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
