About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpentry Assistant to join our team at Nuwavez Cabinet Industry Corporation. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing rubble, debris, and other obstacles.
  • Construction Support: Provide support to our carpentry team by mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on construction equipment and tools.
  • Environmental Safety: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to ensure a safe working environment.
Work Environment

As a Carpentry Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Language: English (fluency required).
