About the Role

Muhurtham Jewels is seeking a skilled Watchmaker and Jeweller to join our team. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of high-quality timepieces and precious gemstones.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean all parts using special cleaning and rinsing solutions and ultrasonic or mechanical cleaning machines.
  • Repair and Adjustment: Perform repairs and adjustments on watches and clocks, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Supervision: Supervise other jewellers or watch repairers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Testing and Regulation: Test, adjust and regulate timepiece movements, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Appraisal and Examination: Appraise gemstones and diamonds to identify rare specimens and detect peculiarity affecting stone values.
  • Cutting and Polishing: Examine, cut, shape and polish diamonds and precious and synthetic gems, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
  • Language and Communication: Communicate effectively in English, with the ability to work with diverse clients and colleagues.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 30-40 hour week, with flexibility to meet business needs.
