Job Title: Digital Solutions Developer

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Digital Solutions Developer to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Calgary, Alberta.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development and implementation of digital solutions for the water sector. As a Digital Solutions Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions using Microsoft Azure platform and Autodesk Platform Services (APS). You will work closely with our Innovation Portfolio Managers and the Director of Innovation and Technology to drive the digital maturity of our water business forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop complete solutions and algorithms for digital solutions to solve engineering problems using.NET and C#.
  • Develop technical requirements and functional design specifications for certain digital solutions to be built by development teams.
  • Collaborate with Autodesk teams to implement software solutions.
  • Collaborate with the OI&T team to build a strong Innovation group and culture across the water business.
  • Effectively leverage new and emergent technologies in support of water digitalization and delivery practice and innovation efforts.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with back-end technologies, including server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, ASP.NET) and databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server).
  • Prior experience with 3D modeling and visualization technologies.
  • Experience developing custom solutions for Autodesk or Bentley desktop software.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.
What We Offer

Stantec offers a competitive salary range of $60,200 - $84,300, depending on location and experience.
