Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Technological Architect to join our team in Montreal. This is a primarily remote position with occasional in-office visits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a targeted technological architecture that takes into account the orientations determined in the context of the works of definition of the transformation of TI and the best practices in technological architecture.
  • Analyze the market of technological solutions to determine the latest trends in the field.
  • Develop a roadmap for the planning of the deployment of the targeted technological architecture.
  • Collaborate with other specialists in architecture (business, solutions, information, analytics) for a global coherence.
  • Act as an expert (resource person) in priority files of the Direction, with suppliers and internal realization teams in the context of projects and evolutions to ensure the coherence of resulting architectures with the targeted architecture.
  • Participate with the Servers, TI Architecture and Telecommunications teams in the development of a global vision of use of technological components according to assigned projects and apply industry best practices.
  • Develop, document and write various opinions, advice and positioning related to technological architecture.
  • Design the necessary technological solutions for the advancement of projects under their responsibility, develop detailed architectures in their field of expertise, configurations and implementation plans of solutions responding to the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Perform needs, capacity and performance analyses and evaluate realization efforts, recommend appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers to evaluate human, financial, material and informational resources needed for projects under their responsibility.
Requirements
  • Hold a terminal undergraduate degree in computer science or a relevant discipline or possess a combination of skills and equivalent experience.
  • 15 years of experience, including 10 years in IT and 5 years in technological architecture.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in operating Microsoft technologies (Windows server, Active Directory, GPO, SCCM, SQL, IIS, PowerShell).
  • Knowledge of hospital functioning, main processes and different administrative and clinical sectors.
