Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing Support Associate to join our team at S&C Electric Company. As a Marketing Support Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting sales and marketing initiatives, with a focus on planning and coordinating customer-facing marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Plan and coordinate trade show exhibitions, customer events, and other marketing-related activities, including identifying requirements from key stakeholders, organizing planning meetings, and booking accommodations and registrations for S&C Electric Company employees.
  • Representation: Represent the company at external events and respond to inquiries from customers and stakeholders.
  • Marketing Support: Support the Marketing department in developing and providing tools to enable the sales team to be more effective, including gathering information at industry events and reporting back to the marketing and sales team.
  • Event Operations: Organize and ensure the smooth operation of exhibitions and events, including pre- and post-event planning and publicity.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of promotional materials and other marketing materials.
  • Calendar Management: Update the sales team's calendars with industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Industry Research: Stay up-to-date with industry events and strategy groups and communicate attendance opportunities to the Marketing Manager and Sales team.
  • Customer Experience: Organize visits to S&C Electric Company's facilities, including customer meetings, tours of the factory and Solution Centre, and training workshops.
  • Solution Centre Operations: Oversee the operation of the Solution Centre, S&C Electric Company's product and solution display room.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in company meetings to keep the marketing team informed on industry activities.
  • Contract Management: Manage and negotiate external contracts related to marketing activities, including exhibition materials, logistics services, and other related services.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Event Planning, or a similar field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of work experience in a marketing or event planning position.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent presentation skills, creative thinking and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and experience with Adobe software and event management software.
