About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at AllTheWay Trucking Inc. as a Long Haul Truck Driver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, including receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring they are secure and properly handled.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and handling dangerous goods.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
  • License: Valid driver's license.
  • Background Check: Pass a criminal record check and driver's validity license check.
  • Health and Safety: Pass a drug test.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding job that requires long hours of sitting, handling heavy loads, and working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
