Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier at Walmart Canada. As a Cashier, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner, providing assistance and resolving any issues that may arise during the checkout process.
- Transaction Processing: Process all purchase transactions in a timely and efficient manner, including deactivation of merchandise with respect to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Program.
- Product Promotion: Promote company-sponsored programs, such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives, to customers.
- Assistance and Support: Assist customers with bagging and loading of merchandise, ensuring their shopping experience is convenient and hassle-free.
- Store Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following proper lifting techniques, keeping a clean work area, and adhering to relevant company policies.
- Register Security: Ensure the integrity of the register by practicing diligent cash handling, adhering to company policies, and being aware of your surroundings.
- Escalation: Refer any service or transactional issues to a Customer Service Manager as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is an asset.
This role is based in a fast-paced retail environment, and you will be required to work in a team-oriented setting. You will be expected to maintain a high level of energy and productivity throughout your shift.
