The Role

Edmonton Kenworth LTD is seeking a skilled Apprentice Heavy Duty Truck Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, ensuring they are in top working condition.

Responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be able to:

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Install new or replacement parts according to manufacturer specifications
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturer standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and attend training sessions as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High school diploma
  • A Heavy Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Certification with Heavy Truck experience
  • Minimum 1 year training in a Heavy Duty Truck fleet or shop environment
