Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and execute all aspects of vehicle and equipment repairs with minimal oversight
  • Oversee preventative maintenance, safety checks, and yearly inspections
  • Keep precise records of all maintenance activities
  • Alert management of any hazardous equipment and the actions taken
  • Conduct roadside assistance and emergency repairs as needed
  • Follow First Student Shared Services' standards, policies, and procedures
  • Safely maneuver vehicles between job sites and work areas
  • Engage in the ASE certification program

Qualifications:

  • Possession of the necessary Mechanic certification
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in computer usage
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts
