We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Lawtons. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. As a regulated professional licensed with the provincial college of pharmacy, you will be responsible for conducting authorized duties, including preparing, processing, and compounding prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners
  • Ensuring prescriptions are complete and authentic
  • Providing injections/vaccinations as applicable by regulations in certain jurisdictions
  • Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies
  • Ensuring the accuracy of prepared prescriptions
  • Conducting the final check of prepared prescriptions
  • Confirming the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records
