Position Overview: Reporting to the Gas Bar/C-Store Manager, the Gas Bar Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting the comprehensive management of the Gas Bar. This includes overseeing sales, maintaining Gas Bar Standards, managing inventory and ordering, delivering exceptional customer service, and executing administrative tasks and merchandising strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the overall operations of the Gas Bar, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
- Perform the duties of a Gas Bar Attendant, which encompass providing outstanding customer service, operating fuel pumps, and managing cash register transactions.
- Support merchandising efforts by effectively displaying products within the Convenience Store and ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be at least 16 years of age and capable of working in varying temperatures while assisting customers.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a retail setting, preferably within a convenience store or gas station, along with 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience is required.
- Physical capability to perform assigned tasks, including prolonged standing and lifting items weighing 20-30 lbs., with occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong mathematical skills and proficiency in operating a calculator and cash register.
- Manual dexterity to effectively use POS systems and related equipment.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Exceptional customer service skills, both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to interact with individuals in a sensitive, tactful, and professional manner.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a diverse work environment.
- Capability to respond swiftly in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Availability: Full availability is required, including days, evenings, and weekends.
