We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Critical Care Team at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, BC.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to work in a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients in the ICU
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Current practicing registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Recent relevant clinical nursing experience in critical care
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software
