Qathet School District is seeking qualified individuals to fill casual Educational Assistant positions. As an Educational Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs in our elementary and secondary schools.

About Qathet School District

Qathet School District serves approximately 3000 students through elementary and secondary schools, as well as other educational programs. Our district employs around 400 staff members who are dedicated to providing high-quality education to our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support students with diverse needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience working with students with special needs an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
