Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to promote Vancouver as a leading location for meetings and conventions.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales activities aimed at the Chicago Midwest Region and the Western US market.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business opportunities.
  • Manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring a steady flow of qualified leads.
  • Conduct site inspections and host familiarization visits to showcase Vancouver's offerings.
  • Engage in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to elevate Vancouver's presence in the market.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years of experience in destination marketing or sales within the hotel or convention industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing innovative sales strategies.
