Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Assistant to join our team at Friends Plumbing Ltd. as a key member of our plumbing crew. The successful candidate will assist in various aspects of plumbing work, including pipe installation, maintenance, and repair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Pipe Installation: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, ensuring accurate and efficient installation.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning and piling salvaged materials, and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various equipment, including circular saws, grinding machines, nail guns, drills, and torches, to perform tasks such as cutting, grinding, and drilling.
  • Worksite Environment: Work in various environments, including outdoors, underground, and in noisy, dusty, and hot conditions.
  • Physical Demands: Lift and move heavy materials, up to 9 kg (20 lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and lift heavy materials.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, team player, and hardworking attitude.
