Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring professionalism and a positive experience for clients.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks) are required.
  • Work Conditions: The role requires attention to detail, physical demands, and sitting for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
