About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Assistant to join our team at Dspot Desserts. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bakery Operations: Bake mixed dough and batters, and prepare special orders.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires standing for extended periods.
  • Language: English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience in a bakery or related field is an asset.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 35 hours per week.
