We are a climate tech start-up based in Vancouver, dedicated to measuring and verifying the impact of global restoration efforts. Our mission is to plant 1 billion verified trees by 2030, and we're looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer with extensive experience in AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing and automating deployment processes, working with various frontend and backend frameworks and languages, and handling both monolithic and micro-service based architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to support our applications and services.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and security.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on AWS cloud infrastructure and serverless environments.
  • Proficiency in managing and automating CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, with strong scripting skills.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, and containerization/orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
