Job Title: Systems Engineer Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at CommScope Inc. in the Montreal region. As a Systems Engineer, you will provide customer and/or partner-focused technical sales support and influencing, technical management of the account, and be the trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical demos, architectural and best practice designs, proof of concept trials, training, and presentations for customers, partners, prospects, and at events.
  • Perform consultative solutions-based discussions to all levels of decision makers.
  • Work as a team with a Territory Account Manager(s) and/or a Partner Account Manager to sell RUCKUS networking solutions through a network of channel partners.
  • Identify and drive the development of a territory account plan based on awareness of the business economics and trends of the industries, including vertical markets.
  • Have a working knowledge of RUCKUS Networks wireless, wired, and software solutions.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners with the ability to differentiate and competitively position RUCKUS solutions.
  • Assist the Territory and/or Partner Account Manager in driving revenue and selling solutions to achieve quota goals.
Requirements:
  • A proficient understanding of pre-sales engineering, technical sales processes, and critical account management.
  • Ability to communicate both written and oral technical solutions to a variety of audiences that include executive level decision makers.
  • Strong ability to support and manage the process of troubleshooting complex technical problems.
  • Highly effective technical presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of networking technical skills, including Wi-Fi technology evolution releases, wireless network optimization, IP routing and switching WAN/LAN design, setup and configuration, Layer 4-7 application services, security authentication methods and products, SASE, SD-WAN, RADIUS, AD, Virtualization environments/deployments, VM installations, secure device/user onboarding solutions, etc.
  • DevOps/REST or other common API programming knowledge a plus.
  • QoS wired/wireless; wireless controller architectures; Wi-Fi protocols and transmission, RF design, indoor and outdoor wireless deployments; packet capture/analysis tools; Proficient in both English and French languages.
Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor or master's degree in electrical engineering; Networking Engineering, Information Technology Management Information Systems, Computer Science.
  • A professional or associate-level networking industry certification such as CCNA, BPIPA, JNCIA, Cisco, Aruba, RUCKUS, CWNA, etc.
