Procurement Strategist

Agropur, a leading North American dairy cooperative, is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to join its team as Vice President, Procurement. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will play a critical part in driving cost savings, quality, and sustainability across the organization.

• Oversee all procurement activities for direct and indirect materials, aligning them with the company's operational goals.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive cost savings and quality improvements.
• Standardize procurement processes and ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.
• Foster strategic partnerships with suppliers and conduct performance evaluations.
• Manage supply chain risks and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
