About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at FERNIE STANFORD HOTEL & RESORT. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
    • Coordinate the ordering and receipt of supplies and equipment to meet the needs of the housekeeping department.
  • Guest Services
    • Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints and concerns regarding housekeeping services.
    • Work with other departments to resolve guest issues and ensure a positive experience.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Monitor and analyze housekeeping operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
    • Develop and implement strategies to minimize costs and maximize resources.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • Experience in a similar role or in a related field is an asset.
