About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at FERNIE STANFORD HOTEL & RESORT. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Inventory and Supply Management
- Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Coordinate the ordering and receipt of supplies and equipment to meet the needs of the housekeeping department.
- Guest Services
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest complaints and concerns regarding housekeeping services.
- Work with other departments to resolve guest issues and ensure a positive experience.
- Operational Efficiency
- Monitor and analyze housekeeping operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize costs and maximize resources.
- Education
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience
- Experience in a similar role or in a related field is an asset.
