Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Golden Bell Sub & Grill Vietnamese Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a positive and welcoming experience for all.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, ensuring that management is informed of key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Availability: Available for the advertised start date.
  • Legally Eligible: Currently legally able to work in Canada.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in this field of employment.
