About the Role:
As a Cake Decorator at Safeway, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious baked goods that exceed our customers' expectations. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that our bakery department meets the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Decorate cakes and pastries to meet customer specifications
- Ensure that all baked goods are of high quality and visually appealing
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bakery or related field is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and stand for long periods
