About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Zander's Fire Grill and Brew Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Manage kitchen operations, including requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working under pressure.
