Skyworks is a leading innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors, powering the wireless networking revolution. We're seeking a talented RF Test Engineer to join our Advanced Development Engineering Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute RF measurement setups that meet and exceed Skyworks' strategic goals, ensuring high-quality products that meet customer expectations.
  • Analyze test results and troubleshoot measurement issues, applying technical expertise to resolve complex problems.
  • Create and present product validation data reports for marketing and engineering purposes, effectively communicating technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Understand test requirements for RF products, including power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, couplers, switches, acoustic filters, and integrated RF Front End WiLAN transmit/receive modules, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
  • Support test technicians during day-to-day activities, providing guidance and expertise to ensure efficient and effective testing processes.
  • Perform spectral analysis, network analysis, modulated signal analysis, noise figure, digital control, and DC analysis, applying technical knowledge to drive business results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with at least 5 years' experience in an RF laboratory environment, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical principles and practices.
  • Thorough technical understanding and practical working knowledge of RF principles and theory, staying current with industry developments and advancements.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi, Cellular, IoT, and Infrastructure measurement, applying technical expertise to drive business results.
  • Proficiency in test automation software, including LabVIEW, C#, Python, or Matlab, leveraging technical skills to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively communicating technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues to drive business results.
  • Curious, creative, and collaborative problem-solving skills, applying technical expertise to resolve complex problems.
  • Familiarity with statistical concepts and database scripting (SQL, MSSQL, MySQL), staying current with industry trends and advancements.
