Join our team at MacIntosh Landscaping & Trucking Limited as a dedicated Landscape Labourer. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing and maintaining outdoor spaces.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a trades certificate or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
- Primarily outdoors, in various weather conditions including wet, damp, and hot environments.
- Engagement with landscape contractors and maintenance teams in commercial settings.
- Assist in the construction and enhancement of landscapes.
- Perform tasks such as weeding, pruning, and trimming of trees and plants.
- Maintain lawns by cutting grass and collecting refuse.
- Operate and care for landscape maintenance equipment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- First Aid Certificate is mandatory.
- Experience with tractor mowers and weed trimmers/edgers is preferred.
- Must have own transportation to travel to various job sites.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and engage in physically demanding work.
- Attention to detail is crucial.
- Willingness to walk, bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
- Strong client focus and dependability.
- Effective interpersonal skills and reliability.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain punctuality.
