We are seeking a qualified Plumber/Gasfitter to join our team, providing essential services to our clients. This role is critical in ensuring the comfort and safety of our customers through expert plumbing and gasfitting solutions.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive wage of $45 per hour for qualified Journeypersons, along with a comprehensive benefits package, generous vacation pay, and assistance with relocation for candidates who require it. Additionally, we provide profit-sharing opportunities for those who contribute to our growth and success.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

- Certification as a Journeyperson Plumber and Class B Gasfitter in Alberta, or be a 3rd or 4th year apprentice
- Strong customer service orientation
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Leadership qualities and a collaborative approach to teamwork
- Preferred: Journeyperson Class A Gasfitter Ticket or relevant apprenticeship experience

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Installing, diagnosing, testing, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
2. Identifying necessary materials for projects and managing inventory
3. Conducting inspections of plumbing systems and components
4. Installing and maintaining gas meters, regulators, and associated gas lines
5. Servicing gas heating units, including burners and automatic controls
6. Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to guide installations
7. Building trust with customers through professional communication and service
8. Completing work orders and related documentation promptly
9. Performing additional duties as required.

Work Schedule

This position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week.
