About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join our team at Pixieset Inc. As a key member of our development team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering new product features that will revolutionize the photography industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and implement product features in PHP, Javascript, HTML, and CSS, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Code Quality and Maintenance: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and help improve and maintain the Pixieset product and systems infrastructure.
  • Collaboration and Mentorship: Work with stakeholders to define requirements, collaborate with team members to identify and solve complex technical problems, and provide mentorship to more junior developers.
  • Research and Integration: Research and integrate new technologies to drive the development process forward.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Developer building custom web applications.
  • Technical Skills: 2+ years of experience with PHP and related frameworks (Laravel, Yii, or Symfony), 2+ years of experience with Javascript and preferably jQuery, ES6, Webpack, React, experience with relational database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and Redis, solid understanding of web technologies including HTTP, RESTful services, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Soft Skills: Self-motivated, collaborative, strong communication skills, and strong sense of product design.
