Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Integrated Child and Youth team, ensuring alignment with Fraser Health's vision and goals.
    • Manage and supervise a team of professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
    • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure the effective delivery of services.
  • Service Delivery and Coordination
    • Oversee the delivery of mental health and substance use services to children and youth, ensuring timely and equitable access to services.
    • Coordinate with community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Quality Improvement and Monitoring
    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
    • Monitor and evaluate service delivery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
    • Develop and maintain data collection and reporting systems to ensure accurate and timely data.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with team members, community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

    • Represent Fraser Health at local and regional meetings, ensuring the organization's interests are represented.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree in nursing, psychology, or social work, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a mental health or substance use setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
